ndranil (Neel to
friends) due to his job with the Indian Army got the opportunity
to travel to the remotest of parts of India. He soon started
documenting the diversity of the Indian social milieu as he
saw it and what stuck him was the wide disparity amongst the
various regions across the country, especially in the rural
areas. Like his father Neel loves to travel and believes "I
CELEBRATE LIFE AND LIFE CELEBRATES ME ".
HE TOOK A TWO YEAR SABATICAL FROM THE
ARMY IN 2004 to pursue a Master's Degree in Marketing. This was to suitably equip himself with the knowledge and the
tools to create new consumption patterns and therefore employment
at the grass root levels through innovative marketing ideas.
He has taken it upon himself to change the way the world looks
at India by encouraging inbound travellers through his network
of friends, well wishers and word of mouth PUBLICITY.
He offers free advise to the discerning in bound traveller to India as he has travelled
more than a million kilometers in India alone in the last 35
years. He has a list of his own recommended travel circuits
which encourages a traveller to embark upon small off beat excursions
around the world renowned popular tourist destinations where
they get to see the real India.
Being a student of MARKETING he is constantly upgrading his
knowledge base and is presently undergoing a focused programme
on SUSTAINABLE ENTERPRISE AND RETAIL MARKETING from the top B School Stable of India, namely IIM (Shillong).
He has since the last couple of years started traveling abroad
(Mainly to Asia). His latest passion is to make it possible
for the AVERAGE NOT SO PREVILEGED INDIANS to travel abroad and other not so privileged Asians
to TRAVEL TO INDIA.
